What is fixed wireless?
Fixed wireless is a type of dedicated and synchronous broadband internet connection. The service is delivered via point-to-point microwave frequencies.
Is fixed wireless reliable?
Yes – our dedicated fixed wireless service is just as reliable as our traditional fiber service. Included in our Service Level Agreement (SLA), your fixed wireless service includes an uptime guarantee of 99.99%.
Does fixed wireless work with voice solutions?
Absolutely, the vast majority of our customers run VoIP or hosted voice solutions over our fixed wireless service.
Do you service residential buildings?
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide our services and solutions to homes in the Atlanta, GA, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston and Tyler, TX areas. However, if you are in the Athens, TX area call our team to find out if we are able to service your location.
We have our own voice provider, can we just buy Internet service?
Yes, you can order our data service independent of our voice.
My company is still in a contract that covers Internet service, can I just purchase a voice solution?
Yes, you can subscribe to our voice services independent of our data service.
We are unable to sign a 36 month contract, can you offer a shorter term?
Yes, we understand that long-term contracts do not work for everyone. We pride ourselves on being able to meet your organization’s needs with shorter term and month-to-month.
Can you provide service for a temporary event?
Yes, we regularly service temporary events for our clients in the sports, music, TV and film industries. Our rapid installation and unmatched customer support mean that our temporary broadband service is ideal for your short-term needs.
What's the difference between Wi-Fi and fixed wireless?
Fixed wireless is a dedicated point-to-point connection through microwave technology. Wi-Fi is multipoint meaning users in multiple nearby locations can connect to it. Wi-Fi is simply an access point which allows users to wirelessly connect to a common broadband connection.
